As I bent down to take a picture of the Congress flower, a wave of silence passed over me. It was there, small, almost invisible, yet magnificent in its quiet brilliance. Its delicate, wing-like petals bloomed with fragility and pride even in the lowest nooks and crannies. I had a lot of respect for this little wildflower that so many people overlook. Although it is widespread, very few people are aware of it. The Congress flower didn’t demand attention; it simply existed with grace. It resembled nature’s silent poetry. Only a select few were able to distinguish its delicate colours in the wild. The flower contains a profound truth : beauty isn’t always obvious; sometimes it can be found in quiet places.
My Inspiration, my teacher is my father watching him through the lens inspired me to pursue photography. He was patient and never hurried, and he has a lovely way of connecting with nature. It seemed as though every photograph he took was a silent dialogue with the outside world. I grew up watching him, camera in hand, completely absorbed, whether he was chasing light through trees, stopping by a flower, or crouched by a stream. He taught me that photography is about honouring your emotions as much as it is about capturing what you see. I carried on with that inspiration, which gradually developed into my own passion.
Nature photography is more than just taking photos, in my opinion. It’s about appreciating the unadulterated beauty around us. A tale of growth, pause, and perseverance can be found in each leaf, petal, and drop of dew. I feel so at peace when everything stops and I’m left with just my camera, the outdoors, and the quiet that fills the room. My identity has been shaped by my Nikon D7500 DSLR, which enables me to capture emotions through the use of light, texture, and hue. Its accuracy and clarity enable me to convey even the smallest details, and its consistency inspires me to venture into the wild without limits.
