Painting with perspective. 

Art was something which I had started out of boredom. 

Living in an isolated building with no friends or acquaintances as such, I was introduced to the idea of painting by my mother. Never understood when this simple hobby became a passion. 

This painting of Gautam Buddha depicts him with his head resting on his hand placed on his knee. Normally we imagine Buddha to be in meditation, in deep thought trying to attain answers to the important questions of life; but this painting represents one of the relaxing moments somewhere near the end of his life. It depicts a kind of moment where Buddha is entering spiritual enlightenment.

The medium used for this painting is water colours.

The painting is simple and intends to depict peace.
